2 [VIDEO/ACTION FOR GOLDENROD CITY]
[ACTION]
[Having grown tired of the stifling atmosphere of the Rocket Base, Emmy has decided that today, she'll train her Pokemon in one of Goldenrod's parks. She's not quite silly enough to do anything too serious in the middle of the city (something tells her that practicing moves like Flamethrower in such an area might be frowned upon), but that doesn't bother her too much. The training she wants to do is fairly simple, anyway.]
Keep your guard up, Lulu!
[And by training, she means...well, sparring rather aggressively with her Lucario. Her Pokemon can't have all the fun, after all!]
That's it!
[It's been a long time since Emmy has had such a good training partner, and she's taking full advantage of it. The pair punch and kick with gusto, blocking each other's moves and responding with faster ones, with Emmy occasionally shouting the odd instruction or word of encouragement. While Emmy has strong technical knowledge, Lulu has pure PokePower on her side; as an opponent, she's formidable. They begin to move faster and faster, completely oblivious to their surroundings, until Lulu happens to let her guard down at just the wrong moment-]
Gotcha!
[It's a move she's done many times before; launching herself into the air, Emmy twists and nails Lulu in the forehead with a powerful back kick, sending her tumbling onto the grass. It's rather clear that she's uninjured, however; talented as her trainer is, she's nowhere near strong enough to do any real damage. Rolling up onto her knees, Lulu pats down the fur on her forehead, waiting for instructions from her-
...ah.]
Lulu...
[Huffing, Emmy places her hands on her hips and pouts down at her Lucario, who is looking...rather guilty, like a child caught with their hand in the cookie jar. She thought she was being sneaky...
...]
What have I told you about going easy on me?
[Looks like they might need to take a break...]

[The feed opens to the sight of Emmy and Lulu sitting under a tree, apparently taking a well-deserved break from all their sparring. Taking a sip from a water bottle, Emmy contemplates the camera.]
Hello! I have a question for anyone out there listening, today! How do you train your Pokemon? I'd especially like responses involving Fighting-types! I prefer to be out there on the field with my Pokemon, but they tend to get a bit nervous when I do that! Don't you think that's far more rewarding, though? I get so antsy just standing around!
[Leaning back against the trunk of the tree, Emmy folds her arms behind her head and looks up at the leaves, still thinking.]
Although I suppose I can understand their fears...we humans are so fragile in comparison to them. I just wish I could keep up!
[Hmmm...
...ah! Right, the camera is still on!]
Ah, sorry about that! It just reminded me of a puzzle, you see. Do give me a call if you'd like to chat about training, anyway!

...can't imagine why~!]
Hmm! Well, I don't really mind! I don't have too much planned for the rest of this week, other than all this. It just depends on whether or not you can take the cold!
[...

That shouldn't be much of a problem. I worked a lot around ice and water back home, you know.
[And most of that involved freezing people and/or riding glaciers through the city, no big deal!!]
no subject
...
...although ngl riding a glacier sounds like a lot of fun, um
SHE KNOWS WHO SHE'S GOING TO BOTHER NEXT FOURTH-WALL WEEKEND...]
Did you? What, in your alchemy? I didn't know that!
[She knew you were an alchemist like Mr Kimblee, but water and ice...hmmm...]
So you turned water into ice, and that sort of thing?
[Not quite as exciting as turning lead into gold, but she'll take it!]

[...in the human body... moving on]
It doesn't really sound as impressive as some of the things alchemists could do, but it was really useful.
[He was pretty proud of himself for being able to come up with an array that versatile!]
It's probably the one thing I miss the most about Amestris. Though I can still do it whenever those weird weekends come around; I've still got the array tattooed on my palm.
[Isaac holds up his left hand to show it off-- hey wait a minute, it doesn't look faded at all Isaac where have you been getting someone to tattoo this stupid thing on your hand]
no subject
[BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU MEANT, RIGHT?
...as for that little reveal of yours, allow Emmy to look rather pleasantly shocked.]
Oh! That's the same sort of thing that Mr Kimblee has on his hands! I can't believe I never noticed you had one yourself...
[As she's talking, and staring at Isaac's array, Emmy absently circles a finger on her palm, as if to mimic the design. How fascinating...]
It's not a tattoo though, is it? It's more...I think he said it was more akin to a burn, almost? You know, super inscribed into your skin, in the way a tattoo can't be!
no subject
I usually keep it covered. If I'm not careful it can activate if I just touch something since it's a complete array. Kimblee did it so that he has to press his hands together to activate the array, but I can use mine freely. It's handy in combat, not so useful anywhere else.
[That's why it's in his left hand and not his right! See, he actually did consider that before doing something so dumb!]
Ah, actually mine's a tattoo.
[It also glows when he activates the array because

...
...why are all you alchemist people so INTERESTING...]
I'm so jealous! That sounds incredible, Isaac!
[...well maybe not the part where it can activate if you just touch something, but you know what, there was an attempt.]
Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm rather glad you don't have any powers here! You'd be quite the terrifying opponent!
[...]
I'd likely have to actually break a sweat to beat you~!
[~~~~]

It really was great having it. It's the thing I miss most about Amestris, but it's not something I'm constantly mourning over, you know? I'm really glad that I'm here, so given the choice, I'd definitely stay here.
[...That was kind of awkward, but he tried!!
Anyway, back to the more important thing: was that a challenge, because that sure as hell sounded like a challenge!]
You sound pretty confident, you really think you can beat me?
no subject
Mhmm. I'm rather sure I'm going to, actually. It's not that hard of a puzzle if I really think about it. You're a lot bigger than me, and you're also rather kind-hearted; that's a recipe for disaster, when it comes to your odds.
You see, I'm getting the distinct impression that when we start fighting, you're going to hold back quite a bit. You'll be afraid that you're going to hurt me, due to our size differences. You're also going to underestimate me - don't worry, I can't blame you for that! - and that's the sort of thing that will allow me to find an opening in your defences and have you on the ground rather quickly. I tend to do rather well when I fight against men, particularly ones who are bigger than me.
[Chuckling to herself, Emmy stretches her arms above her head, before bending from the hips and laying her hands on the ground. Stretching is important, after all!]
Therefore, if you consider all those factors, the logical answer is that I've got a far better chance of winning.
[Rising slowly back up, she rests her hands on her hips and continues to smile.]
For the first round, anyway.
no subject
[Wait, was that actually a teasing tone? DID HE ACTUALLY ATTEMPT TO SAY SOMETHING THAT WASN'T SERIOUS wow, Emmy, look at what you've done. HE'S ACTUALLY FOLLOWING THE TEASING, GOOD JOB.]
no subject
...
...WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE, WHAT THE HECK-]
Oh goodness, it looks like I've given away my strategy! I didn't intend to fight with this much of a handicap!
[Judging by the way she's laughing, however, this is far less of a problem than one would think.]
Have mercy, Isaac!
no subject
And give you an edge over me? I don't think so!
[omg this is really fun!! who knew teasing could actually be fun???]
no subject
NO U!!]
Hah! I'm just glad to hear I've got a chance of having an edge at all!
[You can't be serious all the time, Isaac! It's ungentlemanly!
...probably!!]
Besides, I think I'll only be able to kick your kneecaps! Unless I stand on Lulu!
[...
actually that's not a bad idea]
no subject
[It's already busted enough, okay!!!]
no subject
[...]
Unless you're willing to give me a leg up~!

[Trotting back a few steps, Emmy turns and lightly jogs towards Isaac, putting on a burst of speed at the last moment-]
Hup!
[-and launching herself up into the air beside him.]
Ha! With a running start, reaching your head is no problem for me! Maybe you really should be worried!
[...
WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SO TALL, THOUGH???]
